While not an NBYC event, the club has had a long tradition of helping with the Niantic Bay Triathlon and that helps with our ties to the community at large. A few of the usual helpers are away and cannot be there this year so some new volunteers are needed. The event is Sunday, July 23^rd. Race start is 7:30 AM at McCook Park. Needed are registration helpers, course monitors, kayak paddlers, finish line helpers and water station helpers. Children are welcome. A free t-shirt and a good time are promised to all!
