NBYC’s gray inflatable is available for the membership
to use to ferry back and forth to moored boats. It has a tiller steered
15hp motor, pull start. It will be docked behind the dinghy ramp. This
is in an effort to accommodate members who keep boats on moorings and arrive at
“off hours” when no one is available to drive a “launch”.
This boat is to be used ONLY to ferry people back and forth into the mooring
field. You should plan to have it back to its dock within 15 minutes. Please
provide your own life jackets. You can tow it out or back in with your
boat. While it would seem that it would not have to be said, just to be
perfectly clear, it is NOT to be used as a work boat for making repairs,
pulling moorings, towing boats, hauling dirty, muddy, greasy equipment, etc.
