Then get your phone and/or computer out and call/email the chairman of these
events and let him know you are willing to volunteer to help out!! Great
regattas have become part of life at NBYC and that requires the help of
everyone. The most difficult job of chairing a regatta is calling
volunteers to get them to volunteer! Please step forward and get involved
in these events. People are needed to help with set up, food and clean
up; with administrative functions like ordering trophies and registering
entrants; and on the water help like race committee, mark boats, spectator
boats, etc. A few of these positions require some special talents but
