The season is about to begin!! Here’s a quick
update on upcoming events: Ü Docks In is
Saturday, May 3rd, 8:30 AM. All hands on deck!
Waterfront Chair Jim Barone and Rear Comm Hunt Foster are in charge and will
direct volunteers. Ü Clubhouse
Clean Up – also on Saturday, May 3rd. Sue Dickerson will
coordinate volunteers to clean cabinets, galley, etc. Ü Clubhouse
Floor Redo – the Board has authorized the Planning and Dev Committee to
contract having the clubhouse floor resurfaced. The entire floor,
including the carpet area, will be done in vinyl tile. It will feature a
large inlaid compass rose and NBYC burgee. We expect this to be done
during the week of May 5th. Ü Clubhouse
Door Redo – the main door (nearest the tent) has been an ongoing
problem. It is going to be totally replaced with a commercial storefront
style door – full glass, aluminum frame. This project is already in
process. Ü Dredging is
currently in process and should be completed this week. |
