All the forecasts are agreeing that the tropical storm is
headed our way with lots of rain Saturday and high winds Saturday night and
Sunday early morning. The highest winds are currently predicted to be ranging
from the east to the south. Again, slip holders should put on extra lines, fenders,
chafe gear, etc. Inflatable’s or other light boats should be tied
down or removed. The condition of your boat affects everyone else’s
in our tightly packed space. This is YOUR responsibility – not your
fellow club member’s or the staff’s. It may be advisable to
do that this evening rather than during what is predicted to be heavy rain
starting tomorrow morning. |
